Is there a way to automate the configuration of a PortServer TS 4 or 8?
We purchase and deploy 40-50 of these per project, and we have to manually configure each one. We have to manually configure the IP address/subnet mask/ default gateway. Then we have to manually configure the mode to Full Duplex instead of Half, and so on.
Is there any way to automate this process at all? If there is any kind of utility that I could use for this, or a telnet/ssh interface I could use some how, or anything else, anything at all, I would really appreciate it. Any ideas anyone can offer would be great.
I see that there is a backup/restore option, and also a tftp option. Is there any way to automate those rather than manually clicking on those options through the web GUI?
