I have a Portserver TS MEI 1 port that is no longer found by the discovery utility, port authority, or device setup wizard. I have tried resetting the unit by holding the button down, it resets but still not found.
The serial connection does not work either.
This unit used to work.
Any ideas?

There is a specific method to reset a Portserver to factory defaults, so I’d like to make sure you’ve followed that. Please refer to the following link for instructions:

Also, from what operating system are you trying to discover the unit? Does the computer you’re running discovery from have any built-in firewalls, or anti-virus software which may have a firewall running on it? Please refer to the following article for a known discovery issue with Windows XP:
