Changing Configuration from Point to Multi Point to Mesh

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help me out with this, I currently have 21 x 9XTend RF modems in a point to multi-point configuration i.e. 1 base modem (interfaced to Ethernet network) sending data out to 20 remote modems and visa vera.

I would like to know what the process would be to change this configuration to a mesh network I am guessing I would need to change the firmware to Mesh firmware? How difficult would this be to configure after the firmware upgrade? Is there many parameters that need to be changed?

Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There are only a few parameters that would need to be set. However unless you are using the repeater functionality now, changing it to mesh would nothing for your system but slow down the data.
