Communicating with XB SmartPlug ZB

Hi,

I have an XB24-Z7WIT-004 as my coordinator, and I want to be able to talk to my XB SmartPlug ZB without the use of one of the Digi gateways.

I used X-CTU in API mode and did a discover, and was able to find the SmartPlug and send it commands through the UI (by selecting the drop down box).

However when I send AT commands manually in the Terminal when the coordinator is set to AT mode this doesn’t work!

Here’s what I tried:

ATDH xxxxxxx (where xxxxx is the high part of the SmartPlug’s address)
OK
ATDL xxxxxxx (where xxxxx is the low part of the SmartPlug’s address)
OK
ATD45 (per instructions here )
OK
ATWR
OK
ATAC
OK

However this set DIO pin 4 on my coordinator to value 5, instead of turning on the light!

Am I sending the AT commands correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi,

It is impossible if that you are trying to do is going to change the state of the terminal of long distance SmartPlug using AT command mode.
