Hi all,
I have two XBEE2 S2 modules (fw version 2264).
Both respond correctly to AT commands but I can get they communicating in transparent mode.
The ATAI command always return 21.
I already changed theirs DL:DH parameters so the DH:DL of one match the SH:SL of another but I can receive data when in transparent mode.
Is it possible to create a communication between them even both being routers? If so, what configuration should I change?
Any help will be appreciated.
Rodrigo
The AI should return 0x00 if Both have same Pan ID, Same Channel and one is Coordinator and One Router.
Try the latest firmware versions
20A0 and 22A0 .
It is not possible to communicate in the ZigBee without joining a coordinator network.
If you have 3 radios, then one can act as Coordinator and Other two routers in the Coordinator network can communicate with each other.

So, without a coordinator there is no communication, right?
Thank you for your reply.

Yes, because a coordinator starts the network. And Routers and End Devices join the network. There can be only one coordinator per network at a time.
Sorry to reanimate an oldish thread; but in the setup of ONE coordinator and ONE router (both AT; addressed to point at one another) can the coordinator and router talk to each other?
Thanks,
ssm

Yes, they can talk to each other.
