D1 status error. Unable to change its settings

I have to set D0 to 3 (three). If I make XCTU (6.3.0) read the configuration, D0 is reported as Disabled[0].
Whichever value I set it to, when I write it, I get D0: Status Error.

I’ve reset the radio through short-circuiting pin5 and pin10.

I see that this question has already been made other times and left unanswered or, at least, without a solution.

Shall I assume that the xBee (XB24-API-001 rev.D) is faulty?

I’ve also tried to update the firmware from 10ee to 10ef (newest). I succeded but, with the warning of an error on RR (status error).

I still cannot update D1, in addition also RR is no more updatable, giving the error STATUS ERROR.

I keep asking: "Shall I assume it’s faulty? two days after receving it?.

No it is not faulty. It is just XCTU having issues writing the parameters in the order they are listed. Instead, try using the direct AT command and modifying them via the terminal function.
