I have connected my Digi CM to a V880 and I can’t get it to display the serial console. This same Digi port works with a Sun V100, and the V880 serial port works fine with a different console server vendors hardware. Anyone else see this problem with Digi and Sun servers?
Digi provides two types of DB25 adapters, one labeled “modem” which along with a straight-thru rj cable connects to a modem. The other labeled “console” which is used to connect to the console port of a server. You should be using the “console” adapter in this case.
