We’ve got a DYMO USB Labelwriter 450 Twin Turbo at another office who’s connected with Digi Anywhere USB 2 device to citrix server. Print jobs works fine but when the DYMO device is not used for some minutes it goes into a sleep mode (factory designed). When the device is into sleep mode we cannot print anymore altough the AywhereUSB config utility tells us the device is succesfully connected. Only option is to click ‘disconnect’ and ‘reconnect’ again: the device wakes and then the print job goes trought. Is there any workaround for this issue?
No, DYMO printers are ‘dummy’ devices, there is only a led indicating the machine is up and running (or sleeping), so it’s behavouir is factory designed and cannot be turned off (unless DYMO releases a FW update). I’m searching for a setting or option in the DIGI device that can ‘wake’ the device when it’s sleeping
