END DEVICE MY = 0xFFFE after association with coordinator

Dear All:

I´m a beginner in Zigbee communication.

Zigbee S1 manual specifies that the MY parameter of an END DEVICE is automatically set to 0xFFFE after association with coordinator, if I understood right.

Does that mean that when you work with automatic association I can´t use 16 bit addressing?

Which would be the procedure? Should I change MY in the end device to an arbitrary value after assuring the device was associated?

Can you please help me?

“MY” parameter is always configurable. You can set to any value of your choice at any stage of module.
