I suggest updating the AWUSB/14 firmware to the current release v1.97. There is a fix in this firmware related to an AWUSB “hanging” (crashing) and needing to be power cycled to recover.

We also have the same issue with our AnywhereUSB\14. It hangs and requires a power cycle.

What we have found to date is that all firmwares after 1.95 will hang after 2-3 weeks. This includes the latest 2.01.
Factory reseting after updating the firmware also does not help.

Downgrading to 1.95 restores the stability (ran for 3 months before the next update was released).
Solution from Digi for us as ours is old was to buy a new one.
