Hostnames as a Destination IP address

I need to reprogram my Xbee-Wifi module after my ip changes. Is there a method or service to change it automatically?

Maybe a tip for a new update? (using hostnames)

I am not sure if I understood your question well. Do you wish to automatically change destination IP whenever your Host IP changes?

If so, then its not possible as module cannot make out the new IP of Host.

However, you can program module to send on broadcast IP 2 55.255.255.255 and some unique port address, say 8859. This way your HOST will receive data on port 8859 irrespective of its IP address.

You can also use DHCP which will allow the WIFI modules IP address (all but the destination address) to change with the server request or lease renew.
