How to configure APN's that require User and Password?

Hi There,

I have a Sarian MR2110 , and I would like to configure it for vodafone and t-mobile , I have looked up the relevant APN settings for both networks and they both require User & Pass as well as the APN gateway address/name.

Could someone please tell me how to configure the MR2110 to connect to networks that require user / pass?

I have tried it on three.co.uk as that does not require username and password , and it worked fine.

ALSO…

what sorts of GSM network speeds can I expect from this device? am i right in thinking it is just a GPRS modem , and won’t connect at 3G speeds?

i would try to use just the APN first with out the username and passwords

unless you are using custom APNs and have to use the username and passwords.

these are configured under the PPP interface assoiated with the cellular interface.
