How to update to 37.00.128 rev 2 on XB3-C-GM1-UT-001

We have 50 XB3-C-GM1-UT-001 radios that have been updated to the latest FW 11721 and Modem FW 37.00.128 (the latest xx8 release from Telit)

With this release we are now able to use multi-provider sim cards, it works great on 2 or 3 of them. On the other 47 they do not connect at all. After much testing we have found the ones that connect are 37.00.128 Revision 2, the ones that cannot connect have no revision number listed (this is in xctu).
We have tried updating again but the rev does not update. Can anyone tell us what we need to do to get to the revision 2 that we need to do to make our equipment work as we were told.

You need to use the XBee Studio application and not the XCTU for the latest firmware. XCTU was not updated to supported this version and its associated Telet code.

We only use XBEE Studio now, thats what the screenshot is from, my mistake, I said XCTU

I would suggest restoring the radios to defaults. Then try to reload the firmware again with the Modem code being loaded.

How do you mean reset, in XBEE Studio it only shows the one FW set available, 11721

Or do you mean reset all settings on the device to default and then load them again?

Use the XBee Recovery option. It is found under Diagnostics > XBee Recovery option.

OK, in XBEE Studio i connected the radio on the dev board, went into Diagnostics, chose the part number and ran two sequences:

Sequence 1
I reset the FW to 11720
FW update was successful
Shut down, reconnected, no settings were showing
Updated to 11721 again
Shut down, reconnected, no settings were showing

Sequence 2
I reset the FW to 11720 and selected Force Modem Update to 37.00.125
FW update was successful
Goes to update the modem FW and fails

This is the same dev board i have used in the past for updating over USB Direct to XX* (37.00.128)
