I Need Help with Establishing Reliable Connection with Digi ConnectPort X4 and Remote Devices

Hello there,

I have been working with a Digi ConnectPort X4 to connect a network of remote devices via ZigBee; but I have encountered some persistent issues with maintaining a reliable connection. I am hoping someone here might have insights or suggestions to help resolve these problems.

The issue I am facing is inconsistent connectivity between the ConnectPort X4 and the remote devices. Sometimes the devices connect seamlessly; but at other times; they fail to establish or maintain a connection; resulting in dropped data and communication failures.

I have tried adjusting the network parameters; resetting the devices, and even relocating the X4 to reduce interference; but the problem persists.

I have also monitored the signal strength and network diagnostics via Digis configuration tools; but everything seems normal when the devices are connected. Although, the issue reappears unpredictably; making it hard to troubleshoot.

Also, I have gone through this post: https://forums.digi.com/t/how-to-connect-the-gateway-connectport-x2-to-digi-device-cloud-minitab which definitely helped me out a lot.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with the ConnectPort X4? Are there any specific configurations or troubleshooting steps I might have overlooked?

Thank you in advance for your help and assistance. :innocent:

What firmware versions are you running on your XBee modules?

Is this a Mixed network of XBee S2 and XBee 3?

Can you be more specific about your issue?

Are your remote radios sleeping end devices? If so, what sleep modes are you using?

If they are sleeping, what is the SN, SO and SP values for each and every radio in the network?
