IP port number for PortServer TS4 MEI

2 questions:

  1. Do you have to use the RealPort application to send data to a Portserver TS4 MEI?
  2. What are the IP port numbers for the four serial ports?

  1. No, you can communicate with these ports without using RealPort.

  2. The default TCP socket numbers for the ports are 2001 through 2004 (4 port unit). The raw sockets (typically used for binary data) are 2101 through 2104.
