My Xbee Heats a lot and doesn't work

Hi,
Good evening.
Hi have two zigbee modules XBEE (XB24) and today when i’m testing and programing, i don’t know why and how, but one of this two modules doesn’t worked anymore.

This one modules never more was detected by my COM and when i connect the power he’s heats a lot…

I tryed every possible things to bring this module to live, but i can’t… [:-/]

Exists any option to make this work or the “heats a lot” definitively is a bad symptom?

In normal case xbee series 1 module does not get heated. Seems like you are applying more current through your power supply and due that it is getting heated. Other thing, seems that ground mechanism is not taken care properly.
