Out of band connection problems

Hello,

I am trying to dail-in to a Digi Passport box through a modem and it is not working. I can dial-in fine and but I don’t get any prompt from Digi. I do have username with a port access menu created and I expect it to auto detect and display the CLI.

What am I missing? Any help is appreciated.

Make sure the serial port on the Passport is configured as a dial in modem, see page 188:

Also, confirm your modem cable on pages 307 and 308 in the same guide.
