we use two PortServer TS (4port), both have a connectivity problem on line 1 with original digi cable RJ45-DB9 male:
Connection (DCD) is interrupted when you pull the connector out until the locking mechanism is stopping the movement. This problem only appears on port 1 !
Is this a physical problem?
Does pin 1 or 2 appear to be bent?
If the answer is yes to either of these questions, you will want to contact Digi Tech. Support to pursue repair.
It is a physical Problem. There is no visible problem on the cable or the device connector. We will look for repair.
