I want to set serial port 8’s baud, flow control, and echo properties through a task run in Digi Remote Manager, but I can’t find how to set these through the command line. I’ve pored over all the documentation I could find. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
hi
i don’t think that is possible as you have to be connected to the port in question to send the AT commands.
the other way that might work is if you have a local device and you setup the ports as you need and save them these changes are saved in the SREGS.DAT file this could be pushed to the router but it will need a reboot to read the file.
this is not recomended as this could also break the cellular connect as this also uses serial interfaces so the routers would have to be the same model with same cellular module

I found out that I could do it with RCI:
4800
8,N
none
off
None
0
on
Drop line and call
5
043
50
2
048
0
GPS
Thanks for that please remember on the router this configurationis storeed in the sreg.dat file and not in the config.da0 file.
this is good to know
