Since yesterday when I started writing a new program I have seen a lot of “time out while waiting for response from target” when compiling and downloading the program. I tried just about everything to try to solve the problem until it dawned on me that I wrote new information to the parallel port C register PCDDR just as the program started running. Parallel port C bits 6 and 7 are used for programming and debugging the Rabbit.
