Traffic not passing to internet on WR11

I’ve got a WR11 that I’ve set up cellular and a LAN DHCP server on Eth 0. The DHCP server is assigning addresses to the devices on my network but no traffic is passing through to the internet. I can configure the WR11 in the remote manager so I know that is set up correctly. Can anyone suggest where to look for a setting that is blocking traffic from the WAN?

Hi and welcome to Digi Forum,

basing on your description, possible reasons of this behavior (internet traffic working from the WR11 but not from the devices on the LAN)could be:

  • firewall: have you enabled firewall on any of the interfaces?

  • DNS issues: have you configured correctly the DHCP server to pass also the DNS?

  • Default gateway: have you configured correctly the DHCP server to pass also the default gateway?

  • NAT on the PPP: this should be enabled by default, have you maybe disable it?

If nothing of the above helps, I would suggest you to please send us an email to Tech.Support@digi.com with IMEI of the device and a debug.txt file (https://www.digi.com/support/knowledge-base/how-to-extract-the-debug-txt-file-from-a-digi-tran) so we can open a case to further assist.
