"ttyS ttyS0: 1 input overrun(s)" - Can I change some configurations in Digi to prevent such problem?

ttyS ttyS0: 1 input overrun(s)

  • I am using SecureCRT to telnet to Digi port server TS16, which is connected to a testing board. I frequently got such message: “ttyS ttyS0: 1 input overrun(s)”. Can I change some configurations in Digi to prevent such problem?

  • If I send commands manually to SecureCRT, I can also see such issue. I found in SecureCRT, there is a “Send delay options”. If I select “Character send delay” to 1 ms, this issue will go away, and the serial port works well, even though it looks slow.

  • It seems this slow operation is acceptable.So my question is: is there such configuration in Digi port server I can change to make the serial port work normally?
