We have purchased 2 units “AnywhereUSB 8 Plus” back in 2019, one unit was put in production and the other one remained on the shelves.
Now we need to activate this one, but we can’t find a way to update the unit.
Current firmware is 3.0.0.55 awusb dby-3.0.0.55 01/11/2019 11:14:14 CST 20190111171516
None of the releases I can download seems to work. Not even the oldest available one, AnywhereUSB8-21.5.56.106
What can I do ?

DBY is an older original Operating System for this product, the more modern one is called DAL.
I think you will need to use a particular older version of the DAL firmware for this product to migrate the OS. Then, afterwards, you can update to the latest DAL one (which also may require some “step” or incremental updates).
I recommend opening a support case with Digi, referencing this forum post, and asking them to provide you with the earliest DAL firmware for this product.
@bacose , when you contact Tech Support and provide your Serial Number, please tell the support engineer you’ll need OS ver. 19.11.72.85 for your device. This was the first OS to take your device from the no longer supported dby OS firmware to the DAL OS.
