When an Edgeport USB to Serial device is plugged into a USB 3 port, the 5.30 driver will BSOD the system. This issue has been outstanding for almost a year. When will this be fixed? Some recent laptops ONLY have USB 3 ports, so it is necessary! Digi stated in a previous thread that a beta driver that fixed it was available. How does one get this? Better yet, how about releasing it into production?

The EdgePort 5.70 driver that has the fix for the bsod when used on a USB 3.0 port has just been posted to the Digi Support site. This driver also adds Windows 8 and Server 2012 support.
