Which modem firmwares are valid for a XBee chip?

Hello.

Using X-CTU, how do I know wich modem firmware is valid for a single XBee chip? Different modem types gives different functionality, but I’m not sure if I can change modem type freely for a chip. Also, I hadn’t got a chance to choose the modem type when I bought the device.

Which series module are you using?

Different series modules support different protocols. Based on these protocols you can update the neccesary firmwares on the modules.
