X-Tools installation problem

Initially I had the problem the Muscelman is describing. Reinstalling Cygwin helped getting through all the installation. I am not getting a GNU X-Tools v2.o Shell icon on my desktop. I can run netsiliconLibRemote, make, gdb, source and load commands from a cmd promt but the xtools arm-elf command renders: Xtools not valid intern or extern command, programfile or commandfile(translated from Swedish win2k). I have tried reinstalling the complete chain without change. I am truly gratefull for all help. Regards Hakan

I kind of figured this one out by myself… The bash shell can be started manually by typing bashrc in a command promt. The bashrc resides in c:\cygwin\usr\bin. Regards Hakan
