Hello All,
please help me figure out how to communicate two recently received radio-modules to talk to each other without any re-programming (just with AT-commands through COM port).
states that:
“No configuration needed for out-of-the-box RF communications”
Thank you very much.
Misha
I’m having this same issue on a set of recently purchased XBee Pro S2B from Mouser electronics
Ive seen a few errors in mousers catalog like 900mhz accessories actually being 2.4ghz, im wondering if these are Programmable Xbee’s as they need a bootloader. Altho i doubt this because i think the programmable ones have microchips on the top surfce and these clearly dont … but as Misha said not very “Out of the box” when they dont work out of the box … I am able to issue AT commands and queries
If you had perchased the modules with partnumber XB/XBP24-ZBS/C/UIT-001(Factory default Coordinator) and XB/XBP24-ZBSIT-004(Factory default End device) and both will be having PAN ID 0000 thats why, out of box modules does not require any configuration settings for the communication
