Xbees Unable to Link

Hi all I am new to XBees and having some problems linking them up. Basically I have 2 Xbees that I wish to link, 1 attached to a USB explorer and the other attached to an Ardupilot Mega. The Xbees have been set via X-CTU as follows:

Xbee 1 (On USB Explorer connected to PC)
Modem: XBP24
Function Set: XBee Pro 802.15.4
Version: 10ED
Baud Rate: 57600
[DL] Destination Address Low: 11
[MY] 16 Bit Source Address: 10

Xbee 2 (Connected to Ardupilot Mega)
Modem: XBP24
Function Set: XBee Pro 802.15.4
Version: 10ED
Baud Rate: 57600
[DL] Destination Address Low: 10
[MY] 16 Bit Source Address: 11

I am unable to receive any data through the Xbees, but when I plug the Ardupilot Mega directly to the pc via a serial cable data can be received. Did I miss something out? The settings above were obtained via some google wondering

konnbanwa!,

What are ID and CH, respectively? .

I’m with chobichan. You have to set the same ID on both devices. Also, which one is the coordinator? Routers or end-devices can have the ID field set to 0 to connect to the first ID they find.

The CH is set by the coordinator when it starts the network, it is read-only but you can check if both devices have the same.

Also, it seems that you are not setting correctly the DH/DL fields. Those should be the SH/SL values (64-bit MAC address) of the destination node. It seems that you are using the 16-bit address.
