Aladdin USB Dongle Not Recognized by AKS monitor

Hello,

I am attempting to use an Aladdin HASP HL USB key on an AnywhereUSB/14 with the newest firmware (1.81.15.70). Running the newest newest driver on a Windows Server 2012R2 Hyper-V guest.

When plugged in the 2012 server detects and installs the driver (newest from safenet-inc.com) but the Aladdin monitoring tool does not detect an HASP SIM and clients cannot authorize. This same USB SIM works directly connected to a Windows XP box.

I have attempted the troubleshooting steps in this KB article: http://www.digi.com/support/kbase/kbaseresultdetl?id=3099

Does anyone have any suggestions or potential work arounds? This was the main reason for purchasing the AnywhereUSB device.

Have you contacted the support team for the Aladdin monitoring tool, to get their thoughts, and to make sure their side is configured properly?

Hello,

I have been able to resolve this issue. I re-installed all drivers multiple times and moved ports on the AnywhereUSB/14 and eventually the HASP was detected. I am not sure which step finally allowed it to work.
