Any experience in using Wyse Terminals with Etherlite 32?

I’ve got 1 of my 3 Etherlite 32 units configured on the IP end, I’ve got the Realport drivers compiled and running on my Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 server, but for the life of me can not get a terminal to connect to the server.

Anyone know exactly what pin out my adapter needs to be on the terminal? I’ve got one with the following:

RJ45 - DB25
1 - 5
2 - 6
3 - 20
4 - 2
5 - 3
6 - 7
7 - 8
8 - 4

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

The pin-outs can be located here:

http://support.digi.com/support/techsupport/common/cables/async/CD_term_print_rj45-8pin--db25f.htm

Does getty appear to be running correctly? You may want to test the cable connection using the Digi ‘dinc’ utility:

dinc 9600 /dev/ttyx##

Any data typed on the dinc session will display on the attached terminal and vice versa.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, that should help (I hope)

So much for going with the pinouts that came in the documentation…
