Digiboard 50000490-05 Acceleport 8r 920 PCI Board access through XP

I have the Digiboard 50000490-05 Acceleport 8r 920 PCI Board installed in a Windows 2003 server. Using my RDC(Remote Desktop Connection) from a remote XP Pro computer thru a VPN Terminal services connection I am able to see the DigiBoard and the 8 COM devices but I cannot connect to the Unix application. The application (TinyTerm) comes up but will not present a LOGIN prompt when I hit the ENTER key (process used for logging in using dialup or dedicated line). What am I doing wrong? I have tried changing settings to no avail. Need help.

Respectfully,

Edrick

I suggest that you install driver version 7.0.15.0.
Then verify that each individual port is functioning. The easiest way is probably to use something like Hyperterminal and the Digi supplied loopback plug.
About the only driver setting which may help is the Receive Event Delay. The default setting is 10. You could try reducing it to 0 or 1 to see if that allows the login to appear. This is done through the device manager. I’ll attach a screenshot showing the page.
Windows Xp only allows 1 RRAS connection, as well as having other limits on the number of allowed simultaneous connections. You may be running into some issue with this.
