I have some equipment that uses Xbee S1 Pro to communicate. Every once in a while, one of the Xbees fails and that unit is down until I can get a replacement from the manufacturer. I bought some Xbees so that I can replace them myself, but I need to configure them just like the Xbees in the equipment. Is there a way to download the configuration from an Xbee from the manufacturer using XCTU and then upload it to a new Xbee?
Sure that is what the Save and load functions are for under the Profile option of the Modem Configuration. The Save function is to save it to a file on your PC. The load function is to load it into XCTU. You then use the Write function to write it to the module.
