the application we are using needs to connect to a USB security device over the network.
for failover, we use 3 machines as part of the installation; each machine has a different IP and the AnywhereUSB client is installed on each.
There are 3 AnywhereUSB devices on the network, one for each machine.
The issue our customer is having: when one server goes down, the AnywhereUSB device that was connected to will automatically connect to one of the other two servers. When it comes back online, it cannot longer to connect to it … therefore the application goes down.
The question is: is there any AnywhereUSB setting device side or client side that would lock a device/port to a specific network server (by IP)?
