Hi,
yesterday I’ve received two XBee-PRO ZNet 2.5 Mesh RF Modules, and i want to start by doing range test.
when i go to the terminal tab and print
+++ —> i get OK response
atnd
then i should discover the other XBee module ( as the quick start guide says ) but i don’t get any response !!
what i have done wrong ??? and what should i do to do range test between the two modules ??

Taher,
I would recommend following the steps outlined at http://www.digi.com/support/kbase/kbaseresultdetl.jsp?id=2194 and issue a local network reset to the router.

The steps actually only require 2 radios and not 3. They are only shown with 3 so you can see what it would be like to have a mesh occurring.

Are one of these two modules a Coordinator?
You specified ZNet 2.5, so having a Coordinator is a requirement for setting up the PAN (the other module would be configured as a Router).

What firmware is loaded on the module you’re doing ATND to? I’d like to test it here.

it is 1247 for the router and 1047 for the coordinator.

An error on ATND from the AT Router would indicate that the Router isn’t associated to a Coordinator. You shouldn’t see the error on a Coordinator.
