As I read the RJ45 pin out descriptions for Neo and Etherlite 32,
pins 4 and 5 have the opposite meanings (e.g. Neo pin 4 = Rx, and EL32 pin 4 = Tx).
Is this true or have I got DTE/DCE confusion ??
If it is true, then I can’t just swap cables between
a Neo and an EL32, which is what I would like to do
when expanding a system.

Hi Mike:
Your observation is correct. There are differences between the cabling requirements on the Neo and EtherLite products.
The PortServer TS, PortServer II, and Digi One products share the same cabling pin-outs as the Digi NEO adapter.
The EtherLite products have unique cabling requirements, as this product is the result of an acquisition.
