XBee® ZB Network Interoperability

Hi All,
my company are working for develop an home automation system based on (standard) zigbee protocol.
We would like to use our network of sensors, devices from different vendors that guarantee compatibility with the standard ZigBee HA 1.1/1.2.
We’re evaluating the opportunity to use chip XBee ® ZB as the basis for the creation of our “intelligent” coordinator.
I would like more information about the possibility to use your chip to control / coordinate a network of sensors has zigbee HA 1.1/1.2.

Thanks a lot and best regards

Francesco

Hi Francesco,

Something general like that could be done with our programmable range but you might be better answered by the embedded team local to you.

You could try calling one of our offices http://www.digi.com/aboutus/locations
or

Or perhaps have a look through the SDK to find what you need. http://ftp1.digi.com/support/sampleapplications/40003003_C.exe

The through hole module does not support the HA profile. However, the SMT or Surface mount version of the XBee ZB module does support some of the basic HA requirements. I would suggest talking to your local Digi Sales person for more information in this area.
